Saw 3D

I just watched Saw 3D and i was fucking disappointed. It started off good and ended with a dud. James Wan should have directed the last one. They used a rookie director and fucked it all up. You clould have watched it without in being in 3D. The entire time i was watching the movie kill my buzz i was thinking you have millions at your disposal and this was the best you could come up with. What a fucking joke. Saw 2 had better kill scenes than this movie. The previews were more 3D than the whole movie. The previews of Saw 3D were more exciting than the movie. I am a die hard fan of the 1st one and i expected them to give the fans one last bang but they disappointed all of us. I hope the series is over because the way it ended. It left open a possibility for another one. If Hollywood decides to make another one. Please make the original director and writer of Saw 1 James Wan the director because we deserve better for the money we pay to go see the movie. Tobin bell deserved to finish the jigsaw character better than this.

I am a huge fan of the first film....and i'm a major fan of the overall story.

There are parts from 2 - 6 that I really like and kept interested in.

There are of course many parts from thise films that fall short.

Overall this last movie was a disappointment.

Anyone who has been paying any sort of attention throughout the series knows there have been many hints as to what the "twist" was in the final 3 minutes.

I mean this was no shock at all. And the final 3 minutes was supposed to be the real shocker that we have been waiting for years to find out.

But we all knew what was going to happen. It was no shock at all.

All I can think of is they had 2 movies planned and the studio forced them to condense both films into one 90 minute flick. Not a thought this is fact. There was supposed to be a Saw 7 then finish it with Saw 8 next year. Due to declining ticket sales they only turned out one more film.

I have to believe that somewhere out there the script to Saw 8 had to have been much better and more expansive on the "twist" at the end.

They could have done 90 minutes just on this alone. And they should have.

So much more detail should have been given.

Agree weathered. They had a team of writers and this was the finished product. I had no idea they had a plan for another one. There was supposed to be this really climatic ending that was supposed to shock everyone and it never happened. The theater was silent when it ended. No clapping or cheering happened like when the 1st one ended. Just silence and disappointment.

I just found reading on the internet that since Saw 3D made so much money at the box office that there might be another Saw movie next Halloween. I hope James Wan directs it.There are all these theory's out there. That Dr.Gordon never actually locked the door and that the detective doesn't need a saw to get out. That he could use something else to cut his foot off and that an actor already has seen the script for Saw 8. I hate that Hollywood plays these games. I feel like a sucker already because i know i will go to another one if there is one so i can be pissed off and disappointed again. People are saying that this ending was better than the 1st one. Get the fuck out of here with that BS. What made the 1st one great is that it had you stunned that jigsaw was in the room the entire time and NO one even thought or noticed or knew who's body that was laying on the floor. When jigsaw rose up off the floor and pulled the face off. The entire room including me was stunned. The dramatic music and the screams of the guy being left to die and jigsaw saying GAME OVER and slamming the door shut. That was the shit. Best ending of all time. Everyone went nuts. Everyone was screaming and cheering and clapping. That was a high. James Wan looked like a genius. Then Hollywood stole the story and hasn't come close to giving the us fans that kind of a response. You asked for the ending so here it is

Money when was that article written?

Because they has been saying all along there would be a Saw 8 until the went to film Saw 3D (7).

They scrapped plans for an 8th film.

Is this something new that has come out since then or is this an old article?

Because I know the plan was to have a Saw 8 and the last i heard they panned that idea for a condensed version of Saw 8.

Anyone who thinks Saw 3D had a good ending is NUTS.

The ending was crap.

I dont think they can even go back now and fix this.

They has their one chance to do this right....

Saw 3D should have ended with Hoffman being taken by the pig people....and that would have been the perfect cliff hanger to the final movie.

They could have done 90 FREAKING MINUTES ON DR. GORDON.

So many flashbacks with Jigsaw....really explain the history between the two of them. Just how he came to become Jigsaw's right hand man.

That would have been a great movie.

There are so many things with Dr. Gordon, Amanda, Hoffman, The Wife and Jigsaw that have never been explained!

The article was written last year. I thought it was relevant because it was tobin bell who said it. If there is a possibility of another film it would be him who would know. Plus i read also that tobin bell signed a contract that said he would be willing to participate in the saw franchise till saw 8. The contract saying till saw 8 and the way the film ended and the way the film ended with an open ending and tobin bell saying "Final is a relative word. Especially in entertainment." He seems to think that he wouldn't be surprised if he was offered to continue the franchise. Plus the amount of box office success the movie had left open the possibility of Hollywood being greedy and suckering the public one more time. Me being one of those suckers. I like all the saw movies but i want one more like the original. Saw 3D was a B minus movie. It was OK. I want the franchise to end with a bang. The same way the Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street movies ended. When i saw Freddy vs Jason. That was the way you should end a franchise. That movie was a thank you to all the fans. I got my money's worth. That movie was one of the best. Everyone who was a die hard fan and left the theater felt satisfied. Hollywood went all out for the fans of Jason and Freddy. That's the way i want the Saw franchise to end. We won't know if the story of Jigsaw is really over till Halloween comes around again.

Oh yeah agree. That would have been a good ending and there is still a lot to be explained. That's true. It's a movie. There are always ways to fix a movie and a story.
