You have the right idea.
There are multiple channels having horror movie marathons leading up to All Hallows’ Eve but they are all edited to hell.
It’s kind of like having a porn marathon with all nudity blurred out.
The 1982 version was actually a remake of ‘The Thing From Another World’ circa 1951.
The original was actually pretty good considering it was made 60 years ago. If you liked the 1982 version you should check it out.

If I really want to post something political I’ll post in the GD. It’s nice to get some different people chiming in rather than the same 10 guys going back and forth year after year.

A shotgun blast or axe to the head is quick and relatively painless.......
But I would like to avoid dying like they did in the movies ;

Yeah I remember that movie ....It would be a mind blower.
Figuring that the boat had to come back at some point and being with your new wife would stop you from just drowning yourself before these guys came for dinner.
