The Canadian kid ( Baruchel) was terrible in this movie I must say

I normally like the guy, but he was AWFUL in this

I thought it was ok.

Jay Baruchel tries to hard to be a geek when i'm sure it probably comes pretty naturally to him.

I felt myself having weird deja vu from She's Out of My League when he played basically the same exact character.

To be honest that ruined the movie just a little for me. If I would never have seen She's Out of My League before this I probably would have enjoyed it a little more.

But for whatever it's worth my 5 year old son really got a kick out of it and it's a very good film to bring kids to and you wont get bored with it so in that regard it's very good.

I don't know what it is about Nicholas Cage, but it seems that I dislike him more and more in every new movie that I see him in.

I think it started with his role in Con-Air

I loved him in Raising Arizona.
