Spartacus on Encore

Spartacus on Encore tonight at 10pm looks pretty good.

Wow! Pretty cool fight scenes

If they do an repeat showing of episode #1, I'd recommend it.

I may have to check it out. I have Starz on demand and they have been pubbing that alot.

Jarrett, I assume that if you have on demand, you can watch that first episode when you want I think, at least before the second one airs next Fri and Sun. It kinda lays out the upcoming storyline.

couple things.

-  why was she picking apples like 20 miles away from the village in the winter?

- how did Spartacus find her (right in the nick of time before she was raped and murdered) 20 miles away from the village? (maybe that is a special apple tree that has apples when it snows and someone in the village told him that she is picking apples, and he said "oh at the one apple tree that has apples in the winter, ok,  looks like I have to climb a god damned mountain").

-why after their village was brutally sacked, and Spartacus had betrayed the Romans did they think it was a good idea to bang and make camp in the exact spot she had just been attacked by the bad guys?

-how many bloody spit takes can you have in a show?  (this is when they are hit in the face, and blood spurts from their mouths)

-How much can you steal from gladiator and 300 before you have to call the show gladiator II : the three hundred bloody spit takes?


I am going to watch this show, but so far it has been an assault on my intelligence.

I loved Gladiator (probably my favorite movie) and I loved 300, but this is getting a bit ridiculous.

I started watching it last night, didn't make it through the entire episode. Kind of lame. Although, big ups on the full frontal nudity w/ bush.

i just watched the first episode...so-so...ill watch the next episode and see what happens.
