look at who does it. you have to know your shit, know what to look for. A lot of these guys can tell you a story about every product (mostly) when they look at it.

You and I my friend, do not have this experience. One bad buy and your money is gone.

sorry, hit the wrong key ... i could see the dudes from Pickers makin a bad buy and being able to scam their way out of it ... make up some bullshit story and get someone to pay $250 for some busted up peice of shit ... however, you buy the wrong locker and you're screwed ... byebye cashola

That show has got to be totally fake.  Think about it, if you owned one of these storage places and somebody didnt pay their bill, would you give first crack at seeing and buying whats inside the locker without first checking it out yourself. Come on if any one of us owned one of those places, the first thing were gonna do is cut the lock and open that baby up to see if theres anything worth money in there. Seriously what if there was a copy of the declaration of Independence in there, you gonna just let somebody else get it?
I like the show, its fun entertainment to watch but cant be real.  Also being this is in Cali, i gotta believe that there would be more people showing up to these things and the same 4 guys wouldnt always just be bidding against themselves.  Also why would the one guy {dave} always bid the price up on lockers he doesnt want.  Really why fuck your fellow bidder on something you dont want?  They could do that shit to me all day then.

its not fake. the storage places have other shit to take care of. They make more money off auctions so THEY don't have to go throu everything..then have to sell it. Plus im sure most of those lockers are absoutely worthless, but they don't show those on the episodes. Not every locker has some hidden treasure it. Bidding others up makes perfect sense...maybe they get sick of it...can't make enough money...then its one less person you have to deal with...show is not fake

I enjoy watching this show, my only pet peeve is the value price vs the sales price.

They always go to this unique stores after their "find" to get an apprasal, but you never see them actually sell the items, which makes me question the end of the show results

I've only see them sell at auctions and those episodes are few and far between.

But overall I enjoy the show.. I'm amazed at some of the stuff people pack away and walk away from.....

Sit down and think about it it for a minute. If you owned one of those places, why the hell wouldnt you go thru the locker first, to see if there is anything worth big bucks in there, before auctioning it off. You would have to be totally crazy not to check the locker out first and please dont tell me they are to busy to check them out, because thats a sad story.
Hey if you believe its real, thats your opinion, personally i dont believe it, because i know damn well am checking those lockers out if i owned them. One time one of those guys found 100k worth of baseball cards in there. If your the owner your gonna just pass on that and let somebody else make all that cash.  yeah right

 I hope you werent referring to me?  I didnt mean if i owned the place i would be going thru peoples stuff.  What i said is if i owned the place and those lockers became my property, i would check thru them before i sold them. Would only go thru them if they were now owned by me.
I guess if those lockers belonged to you, due to customers not paying their bills, you would just auction them off without checking what you were selling.

Thank you  some people just want to believe made up shit is real. The show makes for good entertainment but anybody with a little common sense would know its as fake as all the other reality tv shows that are on now.

Just because the show is scripted doesn't mean people can't turn a profit from doing it. The car repo show is scripted too. So is the pawn shop shows.

love show .agree maybe producers got to the owners units first,give them fee.then they change the lockson them. they go through them.then on show they have these guys bid on them because they know whats in them.because  the owners probaly picked out good stuff left crap in there. tv isnt stupid.not since the al capone cave that was empty. that was joke & huge waste $$$.
