finally watched M. Night Shamaylan&#x27;s movie from 2 years ago.  I&#x27;ve never been much of a fan of his movies and I remember this one being promoted as "his first Rated R movie!"  Best part of the movie was the first 10 minutes, but I loved what a budget saver his monster was - shots of the wind blowing through meadows and trees.  Campy and hilarious, with Mark Walberg trying his best to play the role straight. 6/10

The acting was atrocious in this movie.  Everyone focuses on how bad Mark Walberg was but no one mentions how brutally aweful of an actress Zoey Deshanel is.  I have always felt that she must have blown someone higher up because this woman cannot act to save her life and she continues to get roles.  Plus she is probably a solid 6 maybe low 7 in the eyes of Hollywood.  Brutal... just plain brutal!

Wow, what can you say about that piece of shit that hasn’t already been said? I mean plants are the antagonists in the movie. PLANTS! Not even cool mutated venus fly traps or anything like that, just normal everyday plants that just sit there.

M Night (not even going to try to spell his last name) is a like a QB that had two good-great seasons, gets signed to a long contract, and then sucks ass. When his contract is up you would think no one would sign him, but nope he signs for an even larger contract and continues sucking all the way to the bank.

it is nice to know that some that I have had extremely differing opinions with from time to time, agree on the obimination that this movie truly was..........makes me believe that we can all get along at times.......although I will admit I truly enjoyed one scene...however sadly John Leguizamo offing himself was just part of the fiction

i was an extra in this movie.  got to be on set, met marky mark, was on the train in the beginning, got paid but didnt get any screen timemovie was the worst ive ever seen though

JaysvdubwhatHer father is an Academy Award winning Cinematographer.But I really like ZD, even though her acting is a little weird.  Check out her albums though.  She&#x27;s got a great singing voice.
