Damn - what a movie.  Great acting from every character.

that might have been the worst movie i have ever seen. i have never seen a movie where nothing happened. just my opinion

Nothing happened?

A father didn't struggle every single day to provide his son with some sort of shelter/safety/reassurance after an apocolyptic destruction of earth?

I guess you're into much more exciting things like men doing dances in tu-tus....

Read the book twice it was so good.  The movie is good too, but hard to produce considering the depth of the story.  I enjoyed both immensely.

all they did was walk around and look for food. if they had more scenes like the ones with the cannibals it would might have been alright

I kept thinking the whole movie. Why would I go into an ocean in the middle of winter butt fucking naked and swim for thirty minutes if I had a cough and felt like shit?  Some scenes made me laugh.

I thought it was really good, but can understand people not liking it. If you want a apocalyptic action movie, then watch Legion, that was pretty good and action too.

Then, I would have ate you and your wife and kept some of your meat in my back pack.  Just in case I get hungry.  Pulled your leg out and bbq on the side of the road.  That right there was a better script than a two hour nonesense movie.

No, you didn't get it or you would understand.  You are the proverbial caveman staring at the stars.  I didn't have to insult your intelligence... you insulted human intelligence all by yourself.  You did not, however, insult my wife as I am not married.  You didn't get the most basic tenets of survival in the story, so it's no surprise that you would further your self embarrassment with a false assumption about me.  Stick to reality television... "Survivor" will not let your fast food senses down like this epic story did.

you do realize he had a son with him and was swimming out there to try and get some stuff to help out his son when he died.  He knew he was dying at that point and figured he should do everything he can to help his son before he goes....

I read the book quite a while ago, before the movie was in production, so i was excited to hear of a movie... the movie was pretty good but not as good as the book.

I hated this movie, not that the productin was bad, it was excellent. The subject matter was so disturbing it made the movie too hard to watch.

The boy could have used some acting help also.
