Huge fan or horror/thriller movies and I gotta say that this movie ranks up there with the best that I have ever seen. You know a movie is good when there isn&#x27;t a lot of killing in the flick and you&#x27;re still scared shitless.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Great movie.

I could not disagree with you more...&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;This movie was crap....I was not scared at all, the acting was just bad....and the plot was lame....I know this was a true story so that was supposed to make everyone just scared out of their mind....but as a horror movie this film failed in every way imagionable.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Also the ending was just terrible, I mean.....really really stupid.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Everyone was laughing walking out of the theatre amazed at how bad this movie was.....

also I find it funny that she ran out of cigarettes, thats why her boyfriend left to go to the store...&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;yet after he leaves and we see the Stranger for the first time in the house she is smoking a cigarette....

i thought it was one of the best i&#x27;ve seen, wow really good, top 10 horror films i&#x27;ve seen, this movie would be lame on video though, late 11pm showing, the theater a little cold, and u set a little closer than u normally do, i loved it. my girl called me after i droped her off, she was scared, and we all know the rest so i love the movie

How the hell could anyone think its scary? I never complain about movies and can usually find something good about each film I see but I want my money back.&#xD;&#xA;Disclaimer....... Beetlejuice is more scary than this pile of shit&#xD;&#xA; (this guy for more empahsis on me thinking the movie was garbage)

I&#x27;ve seen thousands of horror films and was pointing out the DIRECT STEALS than Bertino, the writer, was using to rip off the originals and piecemeal put them into his film.I even predicted the "girl falls down and hurts her leg" and the "end scream" about 15 minutes before each happened.  At end tally, I counted about 12 different horror films where direct scenes or visual styles/cues/scenes were blatantly ripped off.Not to mention that the two protagonists and their friend had to have been the most fucking stupid people on the planet and what you have is quite possibly the worst horror film I&#x27;ve seen in three years.If you don&#x27;t watch much horror, you will be enthralled and refreshed by The Strangers.  If you watch boatloads, you&#x27;ll call this one out for what it really is: a poorly-written, piecemeal cut-and-paste job of much better works.Save your $$$.

The same people who say this movie was scary said Scream 2 was scary.

I'll never forget the silly people in the video store saying, "Scream 2?! OMG! I was terrified when I saw that film!"

I was thinking, if you get scared at that comedy-schlock fest.....how would you feel watching a real horror film?
