The Town---I just saw this movie 2 days ago and really enjoyed it. Before watching it I was told that it "is like every other bank robbery movie that you've seen". But I disagree, something about it kept me really into it, plus I think that Ben Affleck is a very underrated actor. BUT my big problem with it was that damn Bostonian accent that everyone had....lol no offense to you northerners but hearing that accent for 2 straight hours is brutal (Im sure you guys feel the same about southerners lol). All in all a good flick
The Book of Eli---Saw this one yesterday, did not enjoy it nearly as much as The Town but a pretty decent movie in its own right. There seemed to be an excessive amount of whispering in this film which made it difficult to hear at times...but it seemed to me that it was a role that Denziel Washington would not usually play, but he did a nice job. Another thing that bothers me are those absurdly unrealistic fight scenes. Maybe I'm retarded but I always could not figure out of Eli was actually blind or not (pretty sure he was because the book was written in brail) but he did some very amazing things for a blind man lol...just threw me off a bit I guess. Maybe someone can clarify this for me?? But all in all, decent movie that was worth watching.

The Town was probably one of my favorite crime movies since The Departed. That and Inception were the 2 best flix in 2010. At first, Inception was confusing, but after watching a 2nd time, i thought it was brilliant. book of Eli was good 2, but anytime you put 2 great actors like Denzel and Gary Oldman in it, throw in a super hottie like Mila Kunis, and add gratuitous violence, you really can't good wrong. Good shit

Eli had me all the way 'til the reveal at the end. It became campy and asking me to believe that Mila Kunis' was suddenly tough enough to carry on the mission, in that last shot, was too much to believe.
I haven't seen The Town yet.

The Town was ok....except I can't stand seeing some bad ass criminal like Affleck constantly being all cuddly and lovey-dovey with some chic. That part was weak.

Agree, there was way too much of that in the movie.
