the Mrs and I watched every episode for the four years it was on Showtime. was the Mrs fav weekly "soap opera" when it was on. I thought the acting was pretty good and it was generally historically accurate BUT I'm not waiting to buy the DVD "box set".

be interesting to see what their followup historical series about The Borgia's start in 2011 works out. if I remember right from Showtime's "tease" that ran during The Tudors, Jermey Irons plays Rodrigo Borgia who became Pope Alexander VI.

LeRinkRatI really enjoyed the acting in The Tudors. Jonathan Rhys Meyers where amazing and i loved how his character developed and he became more and more devious.Not a lot of men will experience 6 wife&#x27;s whereas two of them are beheaded.I also liked the Elizabeth movies, but would have liked to see a season 5 covering the reign of Edward and Bloody Mary. Plenty of stuff happened in those years.Regarding The Borgia&#x27;s, yes it looks amazing. Jeremy Irons is usually world class.
