I can't believe that a piece of crap like NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN actually won Best Picture. The movie is absolutely horrible and I wanted my money back when I left the theater. I only went to see the film because it won Best Picture but obviously alot of people were paid off to make that their vote. Don't know how JUNO got nominated. That picture was terrible also...had maybe 3 laughs in the whole film and the production quality was dirt cheap. They didn't use an orchechstra for the score. They had some bookstore poetry reader playing a guitar and singing boring songs he had written. MICHAEL CLAYTON I liked but only because of the portrayal of the lawyer with bipolar disorder and I only liked it because I work inpatient psychiatry...I can't believe the general public would like it...and how did the chic in the film win Best supporting Acress...she was the worst part about the film. I didn't see ATTONMENT but every one has told me it was horrible...why didn't they come up with better choices for best picture of the year...I can't say right off the top of my head which film over the past year was best but it sure wasn't any of these pieces of crap.

No Country for Old Men..... brilliant movie, makes you really think about what is really happening. I did not understand what had happened until after I left the theatre and looked it up on Wikipedia, but it helped me make sense of the whole movie. Great concept, if you can pick up on what happened in the movie and make sense of the ending.

guess it is good somebody liked it but it is still trash in my book. I understand it is a comment on what our society has turned in to but it's still a piece of crap...just like the movie Natural Born Killers and the ironic thing is Woody Hearlson was in that one too.

It's not a movie I would recommend because I only like it because of the portrayal of the lawyer with bipolar disorder....I work inpatient pyschiatry and have taken care of patients just like him...mean professionals even layers just like him

Clayton doesnt have bipolar disorde....Juno doesnt compose their score from a "guy reading booktore poetry....and just because you are too dumb to understand both the symbolism and irony of No Country doesnt men it is not a good film....By looking at the movies you enjoy I can see intelligence level and understand now why you didn' like some of 2007's best films.

You make reference to not understanding symbolism but your statement about the score in Juno illustrates that you don't understand symbolism. I totally understand the symbolism in NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN and the symbolism is not enough to make the movie entertaining or moving to me. In the movie NATURAL BORN KILLERS the use of different aspects of the cenimatic media where sheer genius but that movie is still a peice of crap just like NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN is a peice of crap because of the subject matter and ironiclly both Tommy Lee Jones and Woody Harrelson are in both movies.

World Control, you're dead on about Old Country. Finally saw the movie and man it was awful. Anyone that liked it, apparently likes boring, slow, pointless movies.
