I was checking out the Movies on Demand channel and see that The Avengers costs only $4.99 to rent. (The HD copy.)
Is
renting a movie through Time Warner Cable TRULY only $4.99? I'd give them a call but cable companies train
their employees with the exact wrong info sometimes...web site is even
more vague.
Or will my bill look like this:
$4.99 rental fee $2.00 Movies on Demand activation fee $5.00 Movies on Demand DE-activation fee (for when the 24 hours are up, of course.) $3.50 We'll figure what fee this is later fee. $4.00 Fee to process the fees fee; so this will have to be on the bill every month from now on. $1.50 fee tax.
Thanks.

they cost 5 bucks on almost every cable provider in the country. If you want to be a cheap skate you can stream them online, wait for them to be on hbo (probably don't get that channel actually), or goto redbox

I'm guessing there's a lot of people who didn't know the answer to this question and actually wanted an answer. This is just an FYI for those adults who are looking for an answer to the question I posed:
"Are there any bullshit fees?"
(It's my fault...questions longer than 144 characters are not understood. Now I see that is how I should have asked the question.)
The answer is no. I got my bill and shockingly, if you pay $4.99...that is the price you will actually pay. There is no fee, which was a nice surprise.
Your welcome... Now we can let this thread die...

Syr., I think that is a common price for movies and no extra cost that I'm aware off. I have Direct TV and they have 1,000's of old movies and tv shows (complete mini series) you can click on and save or watch immediately. It's tough during football season to keep up.
