How can there be a sequel? The ship sunk and most of the people onboard froze to death in the water.

The film takes place in April 2012, 100 years since the sinking of the RMS Titanic. A new luxury cruise liner, the Titanic 2, has been christened, and is soon to embark on her maiden voyage, on the same route the Titanic took 100 years before.

During the voyage, an iceberg comes onto her path and her crew must prevent her from suffering the same fate of her predecessor.

I read Cameron is beginning to work on Avatar 2 and is set to release it in 2013 or 2014 .  He said it will be completely different than the first.  Cameron says the sequel will focus "on the ocean of Pandora, which will be equally rich and diverse and crazy and imaginative, but it won&#x27;t just be a rain forest.  I&#x27;m not saying we won&#x27;t see what we&#x27;ve already seen; we&#x27;ll see more of that as well."James Cameron interview
