So anyone sludge their way through this movie?

I didnt make it all the way through and have to say it was quite a bland, uneventful flick full of goofy known actors.

I loved seeing Bernanke played by Giamatti though, and the mannerisms of these leaders made me laugh.

The way Paulsen crammed his agenda down the throats of politicians and business leaders was a bit interesting to observe.

I made it to the end which only made me more infuriated.

Paulson, a real prick, was well played by William Hurt & I liked seeing James Woods get screwed as Richard Fuld of Lehman Brothers. I thought Ed Asner looked pretty good as Warren Buffet. In the end, it's amazing how these buffoons were so unprepared to solve the problems.

It was a decent movie.  I wouldn&#x27;t watch it again but I thought it was entertaining.

I&#x27;ve actually seen this one about 5 times, lol. For whatever reason I love the dialogue. Pretty witty at times too, I thought Paulson was played well by Hurt and even though Crudup looked nothing like Geithner he completely owned this movie. "Legally we haven&#x27;t figured out how....yet"

I think it suffered from everyone being so familiar with the real life plot. will agree there was some VERY good acting BUT it's like you already KNOW what a character is going to say or do.

one a side note, WHY the HELL half these ASSHOLES aren't in PRISON right fucking NOW is beyond me. the GREATEST FRAUD ever perpetrated on the American people (ex for the "Seven Sisters" phony "Oil Shock" back in the 1970's) and NO ONE goes to JAIL and on top of that get BONUSES?

Cannot tell you guys how much I love this movie. Apparently it was infinite rewatch value with me, the dialogue is amazing

wall is right.&#xD;&#xA;this movie blew, and the dialogue....&#xD;&#xA;writers never found a way to make it work. never a good sign for a flick when each character in the same situation has to desciribe to one other what is going on in a "speech like" feel. not a creditable way to inform the audience and have a movie still flow at the same time...&#xD;&#xA;may be worst hbo original movie ever.  one of the few.&#xD;&#xA;barbarians at the gate. my fav. f*ckin great flick. j garner...&#xD;&#xA;recount&#xD;&#xA;and the band played on&#xD;&#xA;rat pack. purely for fun entertainment value.
