I don't know about you guys, but I'm about done listening to these idiots. There are very few that are even tolerable like Dick Stockton, Andrea Kramer, or Cris Carter. But, Troy Aikman won't shut up, John Madden's act has gotten old (by the way, at the beginning of MNF, Madden's first three words will be "well, you know".. Marv Albert? Who does he have pictures of? Bill Walton is a walking talking douchebag, and the coups' de grace? Chris Berman. I met him in Hawaii a few years ago... what an ego. Yuk. Al Michaels is OK, he was better years ago, I wuold be willing to bet Scott Van Pelt from ESPN is a gay man like me, and that Kornheiser on Monday night is terribly annoying, but I do like Tirico and Jaworski. Verne Lundquist has gotten long in the tooth and slips frequently. Bob Costas: it seems like that runt is very self absorbed. OMG, I just thuoght of potentially the worst ever - Dan Dierdorf. He is a know-it-all annyoing jack off. I do like Keith Jackson, Pat Summerall and Pat Hayden. But, the rest of these should look for another career:
Brian Baldinger, Brent Musberger, Dick Enberg, Bryant Gumbel, Mike Patrick and Joe Theismann, Keith Olberman, Tim McCarver, Tim Brando, Bob Griese, and I could go on and on. But, what drives me the craziest is they all use the same verbiage: "red zone", "this league", "game face" "swagger" and next time you watch a game, count the number of times they use the word "football".. talk about repitition.
Got any you want to comment on? no pun intended...

One of the things that really stands out for me is the use of the words "The National Football League". They can't just say "NFL" for some strange reason and you can always telegraph when they are going to drop those 4 words on us...ridiculous.

Cripe, you didn't leave many out from that list!!! Can't take much of Tirico as a play-by-play guy. Phil Simms is great for NFL color. Verne Lundquist should stick to golf. I do think Pam Ward is pretty good in a tough gig for a woman and Andre Ware is clearly the best analysist for College Football on ESPN. Marv Albert is the standard by whom all else are measured.

I agree that the majority blow at calling games. In fact I could do a better job, would love to get that chance too. Anyway there is one guy out there that can keep me on the edge of my seat while watching ping pong or even fucking curling I bet. With the tournament just days away now i'm already starting to get goosebumps. Ladies and gentlemen the man the myth the legend. Gus Johnson (UCLA/Gonzaga 2006, IMO call of the decade)
Len Elmore needs to shut the fuck up too. Gus cuts him off at the end and prolly shoulda slapped him for trying to talk over him, lol.
Seriously though Gus is underused CBS should focus their entire crew around this guy IMO nobody else brings the passion like he does.
