I think Peter Collins was the best producer Rush ever had. I really got into the Counterparts album. Heavy guitar riffs and the songs on them were outstanding by my POV. Although I&#x27;m liking Clockwork Angels the more I listen to it now. The Anarchist song is beyond the ozone layer.

Big fan of early RUSH saw them perform 6 times through out the late 70's and mid 80's. I think Permanent Waves and Moving Pictures are by far the best records this band ever produced. I kind of lost touch with the later music.

The song 2112 sounds as good today as it did when I first heard it almost 40 years ago.

Attended 3 shows on the Clockwork Angels tour (Vegas, Phoenix & Denver). Looking forward to the next tour, I'll probably top it because it could be their last, 2 shows on the previous tour (Time Machine Tour).

Peart - Rock's best drummer and one of the best lyricists of all time. This band is so underrated, 40 years, continues to reinvent itself and has an incredibly loyal fan base and the band appreciates the fans.

First show was Moving Pictures tour in 1981 in DC.

Favorite album is Moving Pictures, although they've made many great albums since, Moving Pics is just impossible to top.

By far my favorite band, the music never gets old to me.

Check out "Earthshine" if you want to hear an amazing song that you've probably never heard of about the beauty of the earth & moon. "Animate" is another awesome song.

"Big Money" all the rich haters on here should love this song:) - "Big money goes around the world, big money underground. Big Money got a mighty voice, big money makes no sound, big money pulls a million strings, big money holds the prize, big money with your mighty wealth, big money draws the lines".

Picked up All the World&#x27;s a Stage when it first came out and been hooked ever since. Amazing the same three guys are still together after so many years, no offense to John Rutsey or even Jeff Jones for that matter.

I never was a big Rush fan, I always drank beers to 2112 as a kid though, lol. But the whole scene with them..when they got inducted by Foo Fighters at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction was awesome. Man that really pumped me up. Incredible.

I have tons of respect for Rush... great musicians and some very good music

But you could not pay me to go to their concert. For one thing I have seen enough concert footage... they are technically too good. Concert is like listening to the CD from the studio. But the worst part is that Rush fans are the biggest geeks in the freaking world. All of them - middle aged men playing air guitar and air drums all in one heap of humanity. OMG I would just stand there pissing my pants laughing at all of them

Yo!  I&#x27;m the biggest fan of the boys!I&#x27;m pretty much obsessed with all their stuff except for "Test For Echo" - which is an embarrassment. But one miss out of 18 studio records is an incredible &#x27;track record&#x27;.  It&#x27;s still hard for me to believe at this stage they can release "Vapor Trails" and "Clockwork Angels" wish remain vitally creative and brilliant.  If anybody else but RUSH released those records in the past 10 years, they would have been blockblusters with all kinds of critical accolades.  They are truly amazing musicians, solid performers and consummate professionals.

Didn&#x27;t mind "Test for Echo", for me the big miss was "Grace Under Pressure". Looking forward to hearing the dates for the 40th year celebration concerts in 2015, I&#x27;ll attend several. Sportsfan - Too bad your a buzzkill for the people you described. It&#x27;s one of few acts that many of those people have any passion for and get moved by. I won&#x27;t apologize for the passion I have for this band... Who are we supposed to get into Lil Wayne, Jay-Z or any of the other piles of sheet that are huge stars now?

Geddy Lee on That Metal Show made it sound like this could be a farewell tour largely due to Peart having a young daughter and not enjoying being away for long stretches. Peart turns 63 this year, it is a lot to expect to play at his level on music written 40 years ago.

If this is true, I think they will continue to play live but probably very limited. Mugg - you're going to have a great time, I'm thinking about going to Seattle (never been there) and RUSH would be a great reason to go. I have to make a Cardinal vs. Seahawk game at some point as well.

I got tix for Phoenix, July 27 and likely will be in Vegas the weekend prior and in Denver as well (did the same trip for the last tour).

Going to be a sad day for me when they do retire (Father Time never loses) but it's been a great ride. Listen to Headlong Flight off Clockwork Angels, it's all about their ride.

KB...........I think you&#x27;re right about this possibly being their last hurrah. I&#x27;m glad this show will be in the Key Arena..........great sounding venue. I wasn&#x27;t able to get great seats (hate ticketmaster for allowing the resellers to dominate the good seats) but I&#x27;m still going to enjoy this. The Key only seats about 12k so there really isn&#x27;t a bad seat in the house.......but closer is always better. If you happen to make it up here, PM me &amp; the drinks are on me.
