several different names behind him...GG Allin and the scumfucs, murder junkies, cedar street person....many others.
this dude was hands down, bar none, the craziest most out of control psycho rock and roller, slash punk rocker ever to perform on stage...he had a very underground punk type of cult following.
reason i'm very familar with him is he was actually born in a small hicktown here in New Hampshire and started his madness with several gigs in my hometown...his first shows even here in Manchester, N.H he would get arrested right on stage...this guy would piss on the crowd, take a crap on stage and toss it into the audience, masterbate on stage, have sex with animals....a real joy he must have been to have as your son...which by the way when he was born his legal name was "jesus christ" Allin....
this guy went on like this putting out underground albums and doing shows for years as a heroin addict, and consuming a jug of jack daniels daily...he would get arrested before or after almost every show, and he spent time behind bars in like 10 different states...he would smash himself in the head to the point of being completely covered in blood, he'd jump into the crowd and get the shit kicked out of him, then jump back up on stage with a broken arm and finish the concert.....the guy wouldn't shower for like a year at a time....he was supposed to commit suicide on stage on halloween like 3 years in a row but he was always in jail so he never did, but ended up dying anyway of a drug overdose in new york city after a show in the year 1994 I beleive.
If you read the stuff on his website or read about him on wikipedia its a pretty interesting read and obviously a very bizarre life this guy had.
google gg allin.....his cult following actually refers to him as "the real king of rock and roll"....lol

Never heard of him, but that's some pretty good shit, Robbie.
Here in Dallas we used to get a kick out of the fact that the singer for the "Butthole Surfers" (Gibby Haynes) was the son of Mr Peppermint (very similar to Mr Rogers Neighborhood). The Butthole Surfers were pretty wild back in the day, but I think they got nothing on this GG Allin crazy motherfucker.

I did and I've been watching all of the videos on You Tube. Fascinating shit flying everywhere (literally). There is a video of his funeral too where they put headphones on him and put drugs and whiskey in his mouth. That is an insane train wreck that his hard to stop looking at. Thanks for sharing...

the thing about this guy that intrigues me is he really and truly beleived that rock and roll was the ultimate form of recklessness....this guy lived his life every single day like a freight train going 150mph toward a brick wall, and absolutely did not give a shit where it took him or what anybody thought about it...he didn't live following rules, paying bills, having rent or a mortgage to pay...nothing....just pure and utter chaos until the day he finally expired at 36 years old....pretty fucked up story, really.
I guess he was actually quite popular in europe too...

Yeah, man ... I love GG's stuff. Lost in all the craziness is just how good some of his albums really were.
I actually know a couple of guys who knew him and they said that even though he was a complete lunatic onstage and when he was partying with fans/groupies, he was actually a very down to earth nice guy once you got to know him. Go figure.
If I remember right, he's buried in Littleton? I have friends in a couple of bands that have played there and everytime they do, they stop by his grave.

yes he's buried in Littleton, N.H...which is about 2.5 hours north of where I live in southern N.H...I actually own his last CD "brutality and bloodshed to all"...its actually pretty tight....the guitar riffs are very good, I actually really like 3 or 4 songs on it...the guitarist from dinasour junior was in the recording.
