I remember my older sister and I cranking this when it first came out in like 1978 or something. I can still see the shock on my Mom's face when Roger Daltrey screams out:
"NOW TELL ME WHO THE FUKK ARE YOU!!!!!"
Not sure when the "HELL" edit came about, but that version played on the radio all through my childhood
Same thing with Pink Floyd's - Money
"Money, it's a hit
Don't give me that do goody good bullsh!t"
but, there's one song that I hear that still gets the "unedited" version played on the radio:
But she never lost her head
even when she was given head
She says, hey babe, take a walk on the wild side
said, hey babe, take a walk on the wild side
and the colored girls go...
maybe Lou Reed was grandfathered in.....
