I got this for $6.00 at a borders. Seemed to have been just put out, plenty at my busy local Borders........Got 30% off that, because I told them that I'm an off and off teacher......
I guess I've taught something somewhere......A little dude was knocked over that I knew more about the Clash than his 18 year old ass did and told me the teacher trick.......Any type of teacher and after your borgders.com bonus email coupons that I never use until they give me 30-40% off, then my "teacher" 30% off........Make some convo with a helper on the floor sop he'll tell you on his own.
Hell, I'm 45, and I almost missed the Clash. Think they split beginning sophomore year 1983. Listened a lot my high school years, but this kid saved me an oodle of cash. How a 40% off, and a 30% off everything else for my work in the academia community.
The thing easily weighs 10 pounds and is one of the best comprehensive music books I have. Inside the cover , it retailed at $45.00. Amazon selling it new for around $20, and I got it for about $4.00.

Great book, but I'm a book freak, especially in entertainment, history, sports, and govt propaganda.....since none are objective.
I highly recommend swinging over to a Borders and snagging it. Calling a few if that's what it takes and having them hold it for you. Obviously in the bargain area..........Spent an hour and a half in the book last night and haven't made a dent yet.
Trust me, you'll love it.......
