Dead at age 71... Gunshot wound to the head. 

"Welcome back my friends, to the show that never ends."

Very very talented keyboard artist.  Emerson, Lake & Palmer were more performers than rockers.  Sad to see these musicians I grew up with passing away.  "All good things must end".

 But I do echo your sentiments.........every year older I get, I deal with more of this & it sucks. Never ready for it.

Oh wow, damn. Lucky Man one of the alltime great songs. imo bummer  you know i've made up my mind that if i'm lucky enough i'm checking out on my own terms and plan on not leaving much of a mess behind.

I know what you mean Goose the older we get the more passing we see. Bowie leaving hit me extra hard always a big fan of what he acomplished.

So sorry to hear about this.  I have been a ELP fan since the 8th grade. Topps in that genre . I think everything they put out between 1970 & 1973 is their best material. ( Pictures At An Exhibition & Tarkus especially.)
   I also like his 1st band The Nice also .
