Looking for help selecting music for ipad

Question

To be honest, I don&#x27;t have any songs on my ipad or any other device. I&#x27;m deaf in one ear and 20% deaf in the other ear, so I have an issue hearing the words of a track. I know I like some hip hop, alternative and a small bit of house as well as other types of music. I&#x27;m not a big fan of country, classical or jazz, but, I&#x27;m open to anything else. I would like to start filling up my ipad with some music but I don&#x27;t know where to start. I guess I would like to start off by asking my fellow covers members for some goons songs over the last 15 years. After I get a decent list, I would like to then ask for some good songs from the 90&#x27;s. If you guys are able to help, I would really appreciate it. I recently got a pair of wireless Bluetooth headphones. They are the Bose AE2w so I want to take advantage and get good use out of them

I cannot help with music selections except mention sites you are most likely aware of like iTunes, Rhapsody, Pandora or Spotify. I know on Rhapsody you can search music by genre. Just not a big fan of the types of music you mentioned.

You should get other responses just check back this place moves slow.

Those ear phones you have sound great I love Bose products.

[/Quote]Thanks for the response. I know what I like when I hear it so,we here but never know the name of the song or who it&#x27;s by lol. I wish I had a massive library built up but that takes years. I&#x27;m hoping I can get some help to speed up the process. The headphones are really crisp and clear. The only Bluetooth headphones that I knew about before finding these ones were the dr dre beats, but, I was told that there were mixed reviews on them. The ones I have are not for someone who likes pounding bass but it&#x27;s a lot better for my hearing personally cause they are so clear. I use them a lot for movies so I don&#x27;t have to watch the subtitles.

A site like Last.fm would be good to help become aware of different music. If you use their plugin and listen to music it compiles charts of what you listen to, and recommendations based off of that, as well as a list of neighbors with similar tastes. Browsing peoples charts, or listening to their radio stations is a good way to hear something new.
