Anyone here into her? Her new album, Blessed, has a song "Awakening" that blows the doors off anything I've heard in a while.
- heaviest song she's ever recorded.  not depressing, heavy.  but rock heavy.  Kind of Iron Butterfly.

Dont have any of her stuff was a little familar with an lp she put out years ago.She's got a voice like gravel being crushed and marches to her own beat.I like her.

Good songwriter I saw a couple times in Texas (Austin/Houston) back in the 70's before she ever put out an album. She worshipped & hung around guys like Guy Clark, Townes Van Zandt & Jerry Jeff Walker & rumor had it she did a lil more than just hung out with 'em 

Very talented but haven't heard much of her later stuff - heard "Car Wheels on a Gravel Road" was top notch & pure Lucinda
