Hey Mugg, (and rest of music crew,......found this live 2009 version of Dogs,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIsS9L9nqvY
...........and I'm guessing you saw this tour. This guy that does the vocals that Roger would have normally have done in the past does a fantastic job. It really almost gives chills to see someone do such an amazingly cool tune by a deity such as Waters, as Roger is on stage at the same time. Holy shit, it's way cool. That guy must have felt some butterflies for sure.....He couldn't have even been born when Pink floyd "Animals" even came out. He sure doesn't look 34-ish to me, which he would have had to be.........
........Well, Mugg, who is that guy doing vocals, and how much of the vocals did he do of that tour ? If you closed your eyes, it's so damn close to Waters......I know that's a slight hyperbole, but, it's impressive......Agreed???
Would you happen to know if that 2009 tour is available on DVD 'ala Amazon/where ever?
Cool shit. .

Saw an interview during/from same yr of '09, and Roger jokes about David Gilmour extorting him that he'll do the tour everyone and their pets, etc. ALL want to see, the reunuion with waters, dave, and N. Mason.............well, story is told by Roger that Gilmour wants to hear him do a sing along of kind of what I'd call a pretty silly ass song, can't recall, but it's on you-tube (the interview)....
....Roger humbly admits that Dave's voice has held up better over the years (in his opinion) I think it's apples and oranges............
......I bring this up pointing out Roger using that guy to do the vocals on the songs "Dogs" (1st post of thread) instead of himself.....don't know how much else in the show that the other guy did Roger's vocals.
2009, wasn't the "In The Flesh" tour, was it?
Hmmmm....
Sure looked like an awesome tour, the footage that I have of this 2009 tour I got from you-tube.
Great stuff!

Yeah, that's from the "In the Flesh" tour..............& that's Jon Carin. He actually played with Pink Floyd after Waters left the band. He does a great job on original PF stuff.
Unfortunately they didn't play "Dogs" during the last tour, at least not in the 3 shows I saw. They played "Sheep" though......
The real treat (in the Seattle show) was hearing Carol Kenyan sing "Great Gig in the Sky"...........chilling, almost tear-jerking. But so much of it was great..........easily tops my list of greatest shows.

I am going to stand in line for tickets to the Parken Stadium Concert this monday.
Tickets are listed from 84$ to 170$. I suspect the seating will be more expensive than standing on the pitch in front of the stage.
But i do not mind that. I like standing halfway down on the field in front of the stage with a cold one in my hand
I saw that he will also play an indoor concert in a smaller venue in Jutland, Denmark. I would like to go there too since there would only be some 8000-10000 people there.
In Parken Stadium i think they can fill it up to 40.000-50.000 if the demand is there.

I am thinking the same, and more intimate experience. The stadium concert is sat. may 7 2011. The concert at the smaller venue is going to take place monday june 13 2011.
I like that, will be able to watch the first one, let it sink in, and then enjoy it again a month later.
