Coldplay and R-head have little in common IMO. Nobody sounds like Thom York except an opera singer on meth. I love that dude's voice.

if you listen close enough you can easily hear the similarity on the 1st cd and the 2nd. add alittle u2 and there you have it....
they are manufactured from start to finish. they took something that worked and stole it, change alittle here and there so they dont get sued and the big labels will push it because they know it will sell. the greedy world ruins good artists and there work by making copies upon copies for the all mighty dollar...
i had a friend argue with me that coldplay was radiohead watching a video...and then it ended...and it was coldplay. what a joke of a music scene we have....
luckily im a musican and i can play what i want for the people and my soul... otherwise i would be plugging my ears and hating life.
i agree on tom's voice...
he has a unique sound and approach. i love his stage presence.... i saw them in cauoga falls ohio a few years ago.....the hail to the thief tour. just awesome.......i was floored by the live sound that didnt stray much from the recording. great job with the sound especially the bass and drums. just awesome...
wouldent mind checking out the cure too...

i dont necc think they are like cold play..if anything what i would mean is CP is like them...the similarity is sometimes that depression slow type of rhythm they bring to the table..thats all
