They are from my home town, they are playing Fully Completely I here next month I think

I remember someone posting here a few years ago saying they were playing near them and had anyone heard anything about them? Blew my mind as they are icons in Canada, never occurred to me they wouldn't be as big in US. Enjoy the show buds.

If you are looking for other good Canadian bands I would suggest City and Color, The Arkells and the Glorious Sons(also from Kingston).

[/Quote] That may have been me..........just saw them a couple years ago (1st time). I knew of them but didn&#x27;t know them in depth. Turned out to be a great show &amp; am looking forward to seeing them again.

Outstanding show

Opened with "Grace, too" , played a couple more including "N.O. is sinking", then played the entire "Fully Completely" album. Had a nice encore set with "Bobcaygeon" (one of my favs) & "Nautical Disaster"............fukkin great. They gave me money's worth.

Gord Downey is an outright loon...........gotta love him. He's a great singer & one of the best front men I've seen.

Sad day yesterday, as the band announced that singer Gord Downie has terminal brain cancer.......one more tour, starting in Victoria on July 22nd.....and ending in the band&#x27;s hometown of Kingston on August 20th.....

The tour is Canada cities only..........so far........& they sold out in minutes. Me & a couple buddies were considering cruising up to Vicky to catch that show but the tix are outrageously priced by the scalp sites.

Friggin shame.......glad we caught them last fall.
