Anyone getting back into vinyl? Seems to be a resurgence and I know I can't stop buying new vinyl. Been upgrading my system slowly but surely and love the whole concept of placing the record on the table, reading the lyrics, looking at the wicked album art , etc,,,

Not 100% sure it sounds as good as a cd but the listening experience as a whole is much more enjoyable

On an lp related note, i&#x27;ll never forget when my 1st true love decided she had to " find herself and moved out "  Many months later one morning i go to put on an lp that i had bought for her but for whatever reason it was left behind. I open it up and lo &amp; behold there was a gram of some kick behind coke inside.I snorted it for like 3 days man.

I still have my original records and I buy a new one here and there but it&#x27;s expensive nowadays. Has technology improved whereby the old analog records can be transferred to disc and sound better?  Back in the day, vinyl did not transfer exactly to digital leaving/exposing imperfections.

A lot of recordings have been digitally remastered if the original tapes exist, and while the process can improve clarity a well recorded analog sounds fatter to me.
