Greetings race fans!! It is that time again, as we are under 1 month until the Great American Race starts another great season of Nascar racing. As I have the past two years, I will be running a fun little contest called Nascar Survivor. If you're familiar with NFL Surivor contests, it's a very similar concept.
Each week, contestants will submit 1 driver that they feel will finish that week's race in the top 20. If your driver accomplishes that, you move on to the next week. If he finishes 21st or worse, you are out until the next contest (we got 3 in last year). Only catch is you can't use a driver more than once in each contest!
The entry fee is $10 per person. You are allowed 1 entry. We play until there is only 1 "Survivor", and they take all the cash. I'm not skimming anything here, all money is paid back out to the winner. I run it for the fun of it. Even though last year I managed to make 4 TOTAL selections in 3 contests!!
If you are interested in this contest and have not played before, email me (my covers name at yahoo), or send me a private message on here. I will then email you payment arrangements and the contest email you will send your picks to each week. It is a lot of fun and challenging! We had anywhere from 27 to I think almost 40 players in a contest before, a combination of Covers folks and people I know personally.
If you are a returning player, I will be sending out a reminder from the contest addy tonight!!
Any questions feel free to post, it's really about as simple as above. If I don't respond right away I will, or several members here are veterans at playing now and may be able to chime in.
