All Star Saturday night racing tonight! I told my self after seeing dimes openers on the favorites being lower than other books that I would boycott this weekend. Well, that lasted until Friday. What can I say I'm addicted! It was nice being able to use one book this season but it's clear to me now that I will have to find another one to compare lines to in order to maximize profits.
Knowing that the JGR cars have dominated the 1.5 mile horsepower tracks this year it's hard not to pick them. But it's also hard to pick Busch at +350 (now +335) odds in a NSCS race with all the variables that can happen during a race. I would rather put my money on Busch to DNF this race at +335! Having four DNF's in seven All Star Races, it's checkers or wreckers with him here. I would have to lay too much on him to make a decent profit so he is my cover bet of the night. Can't afford not to take him...
Changed up my strategy with this race. I jumped on the two cars I saw value in early with Kahne and Hamlin. Then after hitting the truck race winner last night and a few cold ones I spread some of the winnings out on a few Match up parlays and as cover bets to make a few dollars on if they hit.. Sprint All Star Race Kahne +875 (.5 units)
Hamlin +925 (.5 units) Kenseth +600 (.5 units)
Busch +350 (.5 units)
Kurt Busch +2200 (.25 units)
Greg Biffle +1500 (.25 units)
Parlay - Risk $50 to win $150 Kahne +100 vs Johnson Biffle +100 vs Edwards
7 Team Parlay - Risk $10 to win $567 McMurray -140 over Montoya Burton -140 over Almirola Biffle +100 over Edwards Martin +100 over Newman Busch -135 over Johnson Bowyer -125 over Stewart kurt Busch -175 over Ambrose
Showdown 3 Team Parlay - Risk $25 to win $98 Stenhouse Jr -160 vs Menard McMurray -140 vs Montoya Burton -130 vs Almirola
I have a busy weekend and could not provide reasoning for my picks this week with the late post but Good Luck to everybody! I see a lot of people backing Kahne this week!

Good start to the night, I might have to start picking more race match ups in the future! All three cars finished 1,2,3. Hopefully this luck hold up for the next race, and the $600 million dollar Powerball tonight!
Took $48 of the $98 won and created a second parlay for the All Star Race.
3 Team All Star Parlay - risk $48 to win $270 Kahne -120 over Edwards Martin +100 over Newman Busch -125 over Johnson

Yes the only driver I didn't take... 5 time champ and 4 time All Star winner! I usually jump on him when he's around +700 or better too. That's OK, as long as we learn from our losses it's never an all out loss. What was taken from this loss?
1. Over looked Johnson with his recent average finish of 19th (excluding the all star race) at Charlotte. Looking back into it further he has only 2 lead lap finishes and 2 DNF's in that same span which threw off his stats.
2. Pit crew is a huge factor in the All Star Race. Being on the front row was crucial for that final restart.
3. There are a few drivers just out on a test session for the following week. (Screwed up my parlays)
Other than that I had Kahne figured to win as an early lean and he was there to challenge for it on the last restart but was beat by his Hendrick teammate. Had both Busch brothers which ran in the front most of the race. In the end didn't hit the race winner. Can't win them all, on to next week!
