Just got into it over the last season. Really exciting, but I find that there are hardly any people interested in it. Anyways the point is I'm trying to find other MotoGP betters or enthusiasts to share ideas and wager thoughts come race weekend. Hopefully there's a few of you out there!
If you'd like to get into it but are somewhat skeptical give the Silverstone Race a watch from last year. I promise you won't be disappointed

I believe its very similar to nascar when it comes to wagering. Most of my money is made in match ups and head to head which is very similar to what alot of nascar betters do. Hopefully we can find a few more people so we can get it to where we can formulate some ideas and some winners

I love the idea. I do the Formula 1 thread, and have gotten nothing but positive feedback and contributions. This is the best forum in covers with great guys, so I say start up a MotoGP thread. And I live in Indianapolis, and MotoGP weekend is one of the best weekends in the city, so I'd be interested to hear more about it from someone that knows the sport.

You my friend are one lucky guy. I have been trying to convince my cousins and a few buddies who are riders and followers of the sport to make a week of it and head down there for race weekend!

I will definitely create a thread for next Sundays Opening race in Qatar. Its one of the very few (3-4) races that will be broadcast during a decent time here (3pm GMT-4).
So we've established a few that might be interested. I also found a guy in the general discussion forum who seems to be a big enthusiast as well.
Hopefully you guys will join me in the "MotoGP Qatar Race Weekend" thread and we can discuss more. Look forward to gaining more knowledge on the sport this year and hopefully some continued winners!

I run a video production company and I do a TV show about motorcycles here in Indianapolis so I'm really familiar with the weekend. Downtown gets closed off to cars and its called "Bikes on Meridian". They had over 10,000 bikes flood downtown last year. They also have the Indy Mile dirt bike race that weekend along with all the MotoGp festivities. It really is one of my favorite weekends of the year even though I'm shooting TV shows all weekend. Lots of events, riding and parties.
