Man this season is off to an amazing start! We are 1 month into this new package season and each race has been so damn close and exciting it's hard to make it through Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday waiting for FAST FRIDAY. So, that's what this thread is for! DISCUSSION for FONTANA! Are you ready to go 3 and 4 wide?! I AM!

Either a Gibbs car or Penske car will win this week. Probably will be zero value on any of them too.

I am hoping to get Logano at 8-1 or higher or Denny 12-1 or higher

I still think Carl is going to get a win sooner rather than later.  One of the things I really liked about him last weekend was how quick his pit stops were.  That team got him out quicker than everyone else.  That's got a lot of value at the end of these races when Nascar throws those b*ullshit cautions...

@shooter I think every week JGR will need to be covered - all 4 drivers had multiple wins last season, a great accomplishment. However after Penske's rather uneventful weekend in Phoenix, we'll have to see how they unload on Friday

@stats wow those would be great odds my friend!

@alan I agree on the 19 team, they have come out of the gates swinging. I'm happy he didn't wreck Harvick coming out of turn 4, he's a true sportsman and has shown so far this season to preform at a very high level and contend for wins and top speed.

I just read an article comparing standings this year to standings last year at this time. Check it out, definitely some interesting trends.

  1. Kurt Busch … gained 29 spots to fourth
  2. Carl Edwards … gained 16 spots to fifth
  3. Austin Dillon … gained 14 spots to eighth
  4. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. … gained nine spots to 18th
  5. Denny Hamlin … gained seven spots to sixth.

  1. Clint Bowyer … lost 19 spots to 34th
  2. Ryan Newman … lost 17 spots to 25th
  3. A.J. Allmendinger … lost 15 spots to 20th
  4. Paul Menard … lost 15 spots to 26th
  5. Casey Mears … lost 15 spots to 27th

  1. Kevin Harvick is the points leader – just as he was last year
  2. Kyle Larson is 17th – just as he was last year
  3. Aric Almirola is 13th – one spot better than last year

I got those odds I wanted    now comes the hard part 1 of them actually winning       I have hit all 4 winners this year so I am due for a bad race
