This week for the nationwide race I am going against kyle Busch and his +150 odds (should be +200 or more after qualifying). Even though JGR has dominated here in the series winning the last 9! This is a horsepower/handling track where the car will have more of an impact than the driver so I see this as a good opportunity to go against the #54 which I rarely do. But just because he failed inspection multiple times and is starting in the back does not mean he won't be up front by halfway, he will be fired up for sure! I'm hoping by the time he reaches the front he has used his car up and has nothing left for the leaders. He has done this many times, should be a good race I can't wait

Tough nationwide race to watch for me even if it was a good race, had the right strategy and the right cars until 20 laps to go Larson comes out of nowhere to grab the win. My win streak comes to an end, Nationwide Race -3.6 units..
On to the sprint cup series this week where my luck isn't looking to good either as only 1 of my 4 early plays look like a contender right now which caused me to play more than I like come race time. As we witnessed in the nationwide race yesterday the winner can come from anywhere late in the race with so many different grooves to pass. My bets this week are based on who looked good in practice and that 38.5% of previous race winners have come from a top 5 starting position. Fontana Sprint Cup Race 1.5 units - Busch +825 Finished 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in his last three races here leading 356 laps (or 67%). Did not look good in practice but you can never count him out. 1.5 units - Harvick +625 Has been Freaky Fast and a car to beat at every track so far this year. Won here in 2011 - 3rd Fastest car in practice. 1.5 units - Johnson +600 Leads the series here with the most wins, top 5's, top 10's and laps led. Had the 2nd fastest car in practice. 1 unit - Gordon +800 Fastest car in all practice sessions. Does not have the best history here but is the only driver to finish top 10 in all races run this year. 2.5 units - Gordon/Johnson/Harvick to win +159

totally agree with you about the track...a little rough with the tire problems all weekend but between last year and both races this weekend this is quickly becoming one of my favorite race weekends, unfortunately they just have 1 weekend a year now :/
