Try a couple of match ups in qualifying,
I used California,Michigan, Pocono and Indy to cap this race and only used last year alone. These are all 2, 2.5 mile flat tracks. Had to leave out the spring race at Pocono it was rained out.
Matt Kenseth over Carl Edwards +100
Kenseth beat Carl 5 of the 6 races on these type tracks. Only time Carl out qualified him was Fall Pocono(17 was 12 and 99 was 5th). Average start for Matt 19.8 avg start for Carl 23.8. They got the wrong one favorite here. I`ll take my chances with +100.
Denny Hamlin over Ryan Newman -110
Going against the rocket a few years ago was a huge mistake but he just can`t find the handle on these type tracks.
Hamlin beat Newman 4 of 6 time on these type tracks.
Average start for Hamlin 12.5 avg start for Newman 18.5.

Nothing like watching practice with match ups still on the board. They have gotten wise now. Did have a shot with them last year at Watkins Glen race and man I got burned.
Them practice speed and qualifying speeds are two different animals on road courses.
