You pick one driver as your best driver...you pick one driver as your worse driver. Your worse driver gets the points total of what position he finishes...your best driver gets the reverse points position of where he finishes. So if your best driver finishes second, and there are 40 drivers racing...you get 39 points. There's a 5 point bonus for picking the winner.
You only get to pick each driver once for the best...and once for the worse. Drivers reset for the Chase.
Each week you will post your previous selections for best and worse drivers along with this weeks selections.
EXAMPLE OF HOW A POST SHOULD LOOK:
Previous Picks:
Best: Harvick, Johnson, Kyle Busch
Worse: Gase, Menard, Danica
This Week:
Best: Chase Elliot
Worse: Almirola
Here are the list of penalties (we’ll call them “pit stall violations”) in making your picks:
1. Picking the same best or worse driver when a driver has already been previously selected.
2. Not submitting picks.
3. Submitting picks after the race has started.
4. Posting something I can’t understand. EX: Just using the word “Kyle” and not specifying Kyle Busch or Kyle Larson.
5. Picking a driver that is not in the field. (This happened several times last year with worse driver selections because of driver substitutions, and qualifing. We would pick our worse drivers, then they would qualify and someone else would make the field. MAKE SURE you look at the starting lineup for the race to make sure your driver is in the field)
How pit stall violations will be scored: If there’s a pit stall violation on your best driver selection, I will take the lowest score of the selected best drivers that week, subtract 5 points and that will be the total. Same goes for the worse driver. So if the worse scoring best driver selected by one of the players scores 10 points…your score will be 5 points.
