Alright guys...

I have to make a decision on what to do about the Hornish situation.  He practiced, qualified, and was listed as a starter...and then last minute they switched the driver to Michael McDowell, who most people have used already as a worse driver.

I will make a decision and post it tomorrow.

We haven't run into this situation yet in this contest (this is only the second year so bare with me), so I'll just make an executive decision and everyone will have to live with.

I know for sure I'm not going to issue 0 points to the guys who selected Hornish...I honestly didn't even figure out the driver change til after the race was over...but the point total I figure out will be less than whatever the lowest point total is for a worse driver in this race.  After this is sorted out, I will put a rule in place moving forward in case this situation happens again.

Here is the ruling...

Whoever picked Hornish...you can't use Hornish till the Chase as your worse driver.

It looks like the lowest score for a worse driver this week was Kasey Kahne, who scored 14 points.  I am going to award all Hornish picks the lowest score for the worse driver with a 3 point deduction.  So all Hornish picks will be awarded 11 points.
