2011 Nascar Season: +$360

Was going to sit this race out but now with the Monday running I'm throwing down some coin, setting the DVR and watching after work as if its LIVE.

Group Betting:

Group E...Jeff Gordon +260 v(Kurt Busch,Harvick,McMurray,Said) risk $50

Race Matches:

Parlay...Ambrose -200 v Stewart/Allmendinger -200 v Biffle = +125 risk $200

Jeff Gordon -110 v Jimmie Johnson to win $100

Like Ambrose to win but not at +330. May add but probably not.

Clepto, I hope you have better luck recording than me. I have Direct TV and recorded 5 sessions of Sportscenter this morning around 9:15am because that was on the ESPN schedule this morning. Luckily my son noticed nothing was recording about 11:00am. He looked at the guide and Sportscenter was replaced with NASCAR racing. The DVR didn't record the Time Slot for that Channel (ESPN) and didn't record NASCAR Racing because I asked for SportsCenter (WTF). He recorded it and said I lost the first 25 laps. GL on the DVR and ur wagers my friend.

and it's raining like a SOB here so I'm missing it anyway as D TV cant handle heavy rain

Hey Clepto I had Gordon in the same group betting as well. Why the hell did he pit with 21 laps to go after just pitting 4-5 laps before that? I knew that would screw me. He said his car was great...........

Maceo, I heard Smoke on an interwiew yesterday talking about running well the past bunch of weeks and "that's what it takes to win the Chase". I knew then my pre Q bet to win on the 14 was a loss as he just wanted a Top 10. (How's the 26th place feel now Tony?). We need to understand where each driver fits into the Chase and how they play each race until they secure a Chase spot. I think the top 6 or so are waiting to get in and then run Balls to the Wall to hit another W for 3 Chase points in the last race or two. I'm really wondering if that's the play the 99 has been making fo rthe past month or two. Sure looked like the 24 played "Chase Safe" today.

I wasn't that lucky....i got the first 2 segments of sportcenter and thats it. Have to watch Nascar now for my race.

God D......Direct TV Bastards!!!!

Just finished watching the race. The caution came out on the lap Gordon was going to pit on which eventually screwed him. He didn't pit a few laps before that. I should have took +330 with Ambrose and bet Gordon +2.5 -155 v Johnson like I almost did. Lost to Jimmie by a position. +$90 for the race...

I ended up -895 For the race

Not my day to say the least..

Kyle spins the tires late and loses the win thanks to a late caution.

That was a $520 swing

Had Jim under 9 1/2...,he finished 10th That was a $215 swing

Had Jr over Matt. He finished 1 spot behind him ....That was $400 swing.

Time for a break at the track. Probably won't wager again until I get back from Bristol.

Nascar season has been rough on me thus far.

That really sucks buddy. Haven't been around much or I would have extended condolences. Hope to see you back soon, clear your head and get back in the saddle again shortly.

That was one hell of an entertaining race nevertheless. For the record...Biffle hiding behind his crew is hilarious and I think it would be great to see him show up with a black eye in the coming weeks.

Wild race. There will be major safety changes next season at the Glen for sure. My DVR worked great but thanks for the concern. I set it to record 10 hours from 9am to 7 pm just in case.

I should have known my day was doomed when I grabbed a drink and set down only to see Direct TV fuked me out of watching the race!!!!

Bastards!

My wife and I got into a knockdown dragout when she told me she recorded all the sport centers I told her to up to 2:00 for which I said was BS...cause I only had 2. I got the first 4 laps....Thats it and I was pissed..

Then I saw Googs post where they changed the name from sportcenter to Nascar Racing and Fuked me!!!!

Needless to say I'm in the dog house.

clepto....Those were some of the hardest hits Ive ever seen in one race.

Ok I though he pitted. I was observing the race from work on iPhone doing the lap by lap on NASCAR.com.
