Daytona is finally here! We have four straight days of racing with the Duel's, Truck's, Nationwide, and Cup Series starting tonight.. First of all I want to wish everybody good luck as we will all need it as these races are nothing but a crap shoot. With that being said here are my plays so far for the week.

Duel Race #1
.5 units - Kyle Busch +700
.5 units - Kenseth +675

Duel Race #2
.5 units - Hamlin +550
.5 units - Kurt Busch +801

H2H Match up (Duel #2)
1 unit - Hamlin Over Johnson -115

Nationwide Series
.75 units - K. Busch + 400
.75 units - Kenseth +500

Daytona 500
.5 units - Hamlin +1500

 I will be adding more later but that is all for now. I usually don't bet as much on plate races but I was lucky enough to win with Hamlin in the unlimited for a half unit (at +1200) to put me up +6 units to start the year.

Thank you Larry I needed it, I thought Harvick had that one won for 10 laps was just waiting on him to make a move. Did you take anyone in the second race?

4-0 +11.8 units on the year!

The Daytona Truck race is finally here and is usually a really exciting race to watch.

.5 units - Ryan Blaney +900

.25 units - Ron Hornaday +975

.25 units - Matt Crafton +800

.5 units - Kyle Busch +200 (my cover bet)

Glad to see a lot of the forum had Busch in the truck race. He was only my cover bet but a push is always better than a loss.

Good finish to the nationwide race but this time I ended up on the losing end by a half a car length. I don't like the new rule of no tandem drafting it makes for a boring race up until the last lap.

It's time for the big race I hope we see more passing in this one than the there has been in the other series. This one is the true crap shoot race of the week and there are really no bad picks in this one. With the follow the leader type of racing we have seen so far this week I am putting my money on what I think are the strongest cars and should be up front for the final dash to the finish.

Daytona 500 Race Winner Plays
.5 units - Hamlin +1500

.5 units - Ku Busch +1500

.62 units - Ky Busch +1200

.62 units - Harvick +1200

.75 units - Kenseth +1000

Additional Plays - I couldn't help myself, it's DAYTONA!

I just notice 5dimes has a $10 Daytona Office Pool going on with H2H matchups if any of you want to get in, it's up to $270 now

Finish second again but I am happy to see JR win the 500 and he deserves it. He drove a heck of a race. Lost 4.6 units on the day which hurts but I had several cars there in the end and that's about all you can ask for at this track. I was able to profit slightlly on winning 1 of 3 H2H parlays for +.55 units.
