YTD: 64-49, plus 12.90 units
Missed NW action yesterday, my daughters midget football cheering is putting a crimp in getting in that small window that those lines are usually up. Doesn't look like anybody else played either.
On to today. I'm trying these. Monster Mile is tough, so easy to get caught up in a mess not of your own making.
Edwards -105 over Hamlin-Denny is just snake bit here. He does have the ability to run well as his 4th place spring finish shows, but Edwards rocks here with an average finish under 5th.
Jimmie -135 over Kyle-The 48 team looks to bounce back, and they usually do. I like how the car is progressing. Didn't like it much in first practice, then go out and win the pole. In Happy Hour they were decent, but what I liked is unlike most they're fastest laps were at the end instead of first out. Chad keeps making the car better.
Truex +115 over Montoya-Truex looks fast, usually runs well at his home track.
Newman +105 over Harvick-29 looks lost in practice, and is starting towards the back as well. Newman a little better but not great, has a slightly better average finish. Worth a dog look.
Kurt -125 over J. Gordon-24 team just doesn't quite look to have it dialed in this weekend, mid pack in the Saturday practices.
Theme for this week is black and blue, only picking those color cars. Hopefully my account balance doesn't look like that at the end of the day, as Dover will probably leave several cars and drivers in that condition. GL to everyone today, looking forward to this race and some gridiron action. Going Colts, Steelers,Packers, and Balt under. Road chalk, sounds like a good plan, right?
