Been waiting for this for 3 months....its like a 2nd Christmas for me, just love this sport.
Too bad the books took a very bland and boring approach to this race today. Thegreek has 11 match-ups most of which involves the same 6 drivers or so, 5dimes and sportsbook even less.
Nothing with Danica or up and coming drivers like Allgaier and Bayne. Not even a Carl Edwards listing. Hope it gets better through the year but doubtful.
So with so little out there I took the square approach for today and also played very small.
Match-Ups
0.50 unit Tony Stewart (-135) over Dale Earnhardt Jr.(@thegreek)
Smoke has won this race the past two years(as well as 4 out of 5 years) driving for Hendrick(2009) and Gibbs(2008). See no reason why he can't do it again driving for KHI.
0.50 unit Kyle Busch (-140) over Kevin Harvick (@thegreek)
Next to Stewart Kyle has been the next best thing finishing 1st or 2nd in 5 of his last 6 starts at Daytona in the NWS (his other finish was 4th)
Outrights
Like both Stewart and Busch equally but no real value at +350 or so to make a play on both so its a pass for today
