I have to give the books some credit. They put up some really tough matchups for this race. Guys like Newman, Truex, and Larson, who we all think have good value, are matched up against each other. Not good for us bettors, but very smart by the books.
Few early plays
Menard -130 over Vickers Kahne -110 over Edwards Allmendinger -115 over Almirola
Really glad to see them keep putting up this Allmendinger play. This play hasn't lost yet.
Not sure who is going to keep up with Harvick, and because of how dominant he's been I wouldn't be surprised to see some crazy fuel mileage strategy, some stops where someone doesn't take any new tires, etc. Should make for an interesting race though.

I like this Menard over Vickers play. When it comes to 2 mile tracks Menard is a beast! He has the best avg finish than anyone in nascar( 7.1 )for the last 6 races. His last 4 finishes are 4th4th9th and 4th on 2 mile tracks. Where Vickers results have not been up to par. his last three races from last year are 19th42nd and 7th.
Like the play ..gl..

David has one one the best rides there is under his belt.. with a pit crew and crew chief.. that is top notch and better than anything he has ever had before. David has always finished better than he`s started with on 2 mile tracks. Just don`t see him in the same caliber as Menard.
Edge to Paul? I`m leaning that way.

What do you think of this?
Paul Menard over David Regan -115?

Anyone else starting to get the feeling Kurt Busch may be racing with more determination than anyone else this year? Came back last week and had a great run...fast in practice on a 2 mile track...takes the pole...
Maybe his assassin wife poked the bear one too many times...

I expect big things out of Kurt this year. He is a talented racer that is motivated now, a previous champion, he's in the same equipment
as Harvick, and has a more "technical" crew chief this year that I
really think will get him on the right track
It just so happens that his first three races back are some of his better tracks although ever since the crew chief swap last season they have been progressing as a team finishing top 11 in 4 of the last 5 races to close out the 2014 season

It's hard to ignore Menards numbers at Fontana, plus your taking a chevy over a toyota - which have yet to impress me this year.
18 looks fast this week but I would give the edge to Menard in that one
