1st... do u think it is better 2 play match up's prior 2 cars hitting the track or sun. morn after qual. and practice?? 2nd when u play a match up do u base ur play on momentum or a drivers past at the track?? i looked at the jr-carl match up jr-130 carl +110 and feel that it is totally backwards i only checked on the past 10 races at Dover but jr. has only ever beating carl 1nce and yes it was this year but carl was running 4th with 165 to go cut a tire and slammed the wall!!! on a side note do harvick and carl go winless this year??

Very rarely do I play match ups before Ive looked at practices, mainly because I like to have as much info as possible when making my bets, plus u never who is going to come with a new car that is just plain fast, or be testing a setup.
You have to use both momentum and track history I feel. Carl's year just totally baffles me, as good as his teammates have ran, and he hasnt ran well anywhere. With that being said Jr is 3rd on my hardest to predict list, behind Tony, and Joey. I dont think ive made one wager on or against tony all year. Doest matter how he looks in practice, he could win or run 20th u never know.
Yes they go winless unless they luck at dega next week

stats...I look at history and momentum.. I will say i lean a little heavier towards momenum. This sport is so competitive that when you are off just a tic it equates to 15 places on the track. Look at the 99 and 18 from last year. What have they done this year? I'm telling ya its a momentum driven sport. That being said I always look at the history before pulling the trigger. If a driver struggles at a particular track ie...Jr on a road course, I'll stay away no matter the momentum. As far as pre Q match ups...I don't do it very often.
Harvick and Carl both go winless this year unless Harvick pulls one out at Dega but with the way his teammates are running I really don't see that happening.
Burton.....I love the guy but he is old and washed up. Needs to retire imo.
