Is a Ford Dead Money to Win?

Help me out Guru&#x27;s of the NASCAR Forum. Are the Ford&#x27;s just a tad behind this year vs. Toyota, Chevy and Dodge? A Ford has yet to win a race this year and the Toyota teams are a com&#x27;in on strong! Kasey Kahne is one of my favorite decent odds plays in Charlotte, but should I ever back a Ford at this point until they prove they can win? (btw I&#x27;m getting the same feeling with Jeff Gordon. ah another discussion for another day) OK, what&#x27;s the deal? Is it time I stay away from a Ford to win until they, um , win? Or change something with the car? As always, your help is valued and priceless &#xD;&#xA; ty, goggles

I think its time to stay away from fords for the time being until they can prove they can race wit chevy/toyota

since the spoilers have come on JGR have been red hot it may be auto plays oif the 11 18 20

I agree with Penn State Man..I think its wise to stay away from Fords until they win something. Its obvious Chevy/Toyota are a step ahead of them right now.

Goggles I played Kahne for allstar race as he does run good there.Hope they can find a bit more horsepower

goggles, its been since Nov 1st that ford has won, that was with McMurry (at dega)who is now drivin a chevy and you have to go all the way back to Cal Feb 22 for fords next win(Kenseth).

I can`t see backing a ford right now but like Dennis said Kahne does get around Charlotte pretty well. And again agree with Dennis they are lacking in horsepower.

Good input all, ty. Lugs I didn&#x27;t realize Ford&#x27;s won 1 non plate race in 2009 and 2010 combined. 3 total if we count Dega and Daytona in 2009. how much $ have i pissed away on a Ford during this time? Stats, sure the All Star Race counts, not the Showdown.  Dennis, I luv KK at Charlotte and he was coming on strong last year until the rain/pit stop episode which Rueti won. PSM , yea how about it? JGR is rolling along (I grabbed some Denny to win it all at &#x2B;1200 two weeks ago). Maceo, yup it&#x27;s going to be a Chevy or Toyota on the win for now. btw, the fishing report this evening is 1 Striper in the cooler and 1 missed. thx all. time for a few cold 1&#x27;s

Kahne is the only Ford I would back right now. He&#x27;s good at Charlotte &amp; seems to run best at night. He had an awesome car last week if he didn&#x27;t have a problem with his shifter.
