Seems like only yesterday I was a drunk screaming monkey when they called the Daytona 500 with Matt Kenseth in the lead parked on pit row. But today another Nascar season comes to an end. Looks like my Cup record will be a money losing effort this year unless I sweep the board (which could happen), but like last year Nationwide winnings will make it a profitable season overall. Closing it down with these:
Hamlin -115 over Burton-If Denny can keep his cool and not have any run ins with you know who, he has a very solid history at this track and a much stronger team overall.
Kahne -135 over Dale Jr.=Why not fade the 88 one last time this year. Kahne looked respectable in practice, average finish of 12.5 on the new banking here compared to 28.8 with a DNF for Jr.
Reutimann -125 over Vickers-The 00 could be next year's version of Vickes and crash the Chase, he's been solid. Of course part of this play is that the 83 team has totally shit the bed for the entire Chase after they where so hot in getting here.
Juan Pablo Montoya -105 over Kyle-Just a feeling here, Johnny challenging for his first oval win in Miami?? Kyle has a pretty checkered history at the venue, with an average finish down near 29 with a DNF.
Logano +115 over Ambrose-little bit of value here on Joey I think. First time here, but don't see why this track configuration would give him more trouble than any other. Looked fast in practice.
That's it for me today. Been an enjoyable season, have enjoyed the thoughts put in by various posters on the Nascar board through out the year. And if you're new to the scene, be on the lookout come February for my Nascar Survivor contest. We've got three Covers posters challenging for the last prize, Tarheel, Madshooter and longarm. GL to them and everyone else today

Thank you Tony Stewart, you huge A-hole. He'd been on good behavior all year, then has to blatently wreck a guy I have money on. Hate that SOB Very strong dislike at a minimum. Such a prick.

Can't wait til Daytona or better yet a new survivor pool!!
I think we should all pitch in a extra $5 for you handling that!!!
That survivor deal is good stuff, especially if you make it past 2 or 3 races....LOL....
May I suggest a $20 US entry fee for next season. Let's spice it up and really promote enrollment. Everyone can afford it. See you next season my friends and congrats to Tarheel and Shooter for splitting the final prize. I see a 50+ person contest for Daytona. Freamer to ensure 3 season contest maybe set the starting dates in stone, Daytona 500, 600, Bristol night, and carry contests over if necessary. I agree a percentage for Jason is in order.
