last week: 0-4, -5.1 units YTD: 53-44, +7.45 units. Remember when I was up over 20 units??
Alright, this ship has began to take on water at a Titanic like pace. Another whiffer in Nationwide plays yesterday. Not what my account needs with football on the horizon. Try to get the ledger going back in a positive direction with these:
Kurt Busch +110 over Burton-The Blue Duece hasn't always posted the finish to show it, but has been one of the more dominating cars at this track lately and looks strong again in practice. Burton managed a top 10 earlier this year at the track, but had been outside that level the previous 8 trips.
Harvick -125 over Bowyer-Average finish for the 29 the last 9 trips: 12.4. 33 average finish in the same period: 21.2. Book it.
J. Gordon -125 over Kyle Busch-Jeffie in the top 3 in Happy Hour, Rowdy down at 28th. The 24 has 6 top ten runs the last 9 trips here, compared to 2 for the 18.
Edwards -140 over Montoya-Carl has the top average finish the last 9 trips here at 6.7.Johnny is down at 24.3. Carl also looked good in both Saturday practices for the ten lap average counters.
Biffle +100 over Kahne-both cars look fast and have had some good runs here, but the Biff has been a bit more consistent. And I'm thinking Rousch Racing has an inspired day with Jack back on the box after the plane crash.
That's it for me. Might be best to do the exact opposite. I hope not, we'll find out in a few hours. GL to everyone today

Like the picks Fream. The only SLIGHT hesitation is the Bowyer Harvick matchup. Bowyer needs to be good to make the chase and I think RC will do what he needs ot get that car in. Now Harvick needs wins and will go for it but that also could be a wild card with this track being a fuel mileage track. Harvick can gamble while Bowyer can't. Can be good, can be a detriment. But that is why it is gambling!!!

Thanks guys. Understand what you're saying there MLB, that's one of the reasons I liked Harvick. It's likely to be a ten spot cushion either way on that one.

Alright, 3-2 plus .75 unit. Not making me rich, but just feels good to get back in the right direction. Could have been a killer day, as my fades of Kyle and Burton appeared to be capped correctly (finished 18th and 24th it looked like). But Kurt went caboom and as usual my wager on Gordon cursed the 24 machine and he ate some wall on that cluster of a restart.
On to next week, the always entertaining Bristol night race! One of my personal faves, as is just about every ones. See everyone then. Off to the pool for my daughter's birthday party shortly.
