It feels like just yesterday number 93 took home his third straight victory of the season.....wait....ugh it was........
The riders have a extremely quick turn around this week as the premier class shifts back to Europe and specifically Spain, the home of quite a few of our favorite riders and world champions. It was constructed in 1986 and hosted its first Grand Prix a mere one year later, the circuit of Jerez is now one of the most popular MotoGP venues, the center point for a city fanatical about motor sport.
Dani had a spectacular showing here last year, carving his way through the pack eventually passing Lorenzo on lap 6 to take home the victory. He'll be posed again for another excellent finish. Sadly Dani will be in tough with the raining world champion looking unbeatable at the moment and should set the bar here again at Jerez. Last year this time Marquez was still adapting his riding style from Moto2 and getting comfortable with the new machine. That won't be the case this week and will remain the man to beat. With that being said it leads me right into my first wager of the weekend......
