The Gran Premio d'Italia is a big occasion on the MotoGP calendar. Mugello is a modern circuit with excellent facilities. Bought by Ferrari back in 1988, the 5.245km track has been renovated to a high standard and has a growing reputation as one of the world’s most up-to-date, scenic and safest race circuits.
So with a brief overview of this weekends race at Mugello I pose these questions to you. Will Marquez continue his dominance on the pole and on race day? Will Jorge finally get a "grip" on the 2014 tyres? And finally, has Dani fully recovered from his recent arm surgery? All things we won't know until Thursday, but hey, let the speculation begin!

Really bwin? This seems like the one bet to unload on MoreGeezer. Although I must say I'm tempted to, its just not usually my style, also add to the fact what happened last week when I had this feeling. Hell maybe they know something that me and other 13 books that offer this wager don't? I just dont believe they do. Most have him at -350 to win, few have him at -300-30. I peg him at an easy -400 or higher come race day.

Hmm It certainly look a great bet with a lot of value, even though i read artcles and interviews about rossi having a good chance to beat him here.i dont believe that, the difference between him and the others look just too great...he cant be compared to anyone right now. I like the odds in qualifics this time...books have messed a lot with the lines. Bautista at 2.10 on pol espargaro... Iannone at 1.82 on crutchlow.... Bradl at 1.50 on pol espargaro. Maybe pedrosa at 1.55 on aleix. What do you think?

Yea we are all well aware that Rossi has had the most success at Mugello ever. People like to neglect the fact that he hasn't won here since 2011 and had most of his success prior to the Lorenzo/Marquez Era's. Ah well, the better for us I guess.
Hard to like Bautista and Pedrosa in Qualifying to be honest. IMO they both are more so long distance racers than a smoke you in 1 lap kind of rider. I'd be careful with those two. Iannone to beat Cal?! TAKE IT. PaddyPower? Why won't they take my money....
Bradl is not worth laying -200 IMO. Pol was quick in Le Mans. Don't count him out.

Probably could of waited till after qualifying but I obviously assumed he would finish somewhere on the second grid. Sadly he is starting on the 3rd grid from the 9th spot and his odds have shifted to a +130. Just the way things went. Still confident in the wager and would still take it at +130. Not a whole lot of value on ether prices but I am confident its a winner. That is unless these Ducati's can prove they aren't all smoke and mirrors come race day. Hey, maybe the testing here a month ago has really paid off?

Jorge is the best starter in the game. Hands down. Put him on the front grid and for years he has dominated the first lap. His style is made to burn the pack early and create separation, giving his fellow riders essentially no chance to catch up. Nobody has that killer instinct off the line like JL does. Marquez should be right behind him dont get me wrong. IMO he just wont be as quick off the line or throughout the first lap at Mugello.I wont mention Iannone as I dont think he can maintain his spot, not even for a lap.
If it rains tomorrow this could go very south quickly.

Man i'm sorry i couldnt respond before,it has been a busy week end for me.i went big on iannone again in this race(vs crutchlow and smith) and i was lucky this time.i had marq like you for the race at 1.40,got lucky on that too :) I would have had something to say about your bradl bet, simply for the fact he fell 2 times this weekend, and was injured coming in...someone in his situation probably wouldnt have been motivated to go strong, instead just mantain the position and dont risk to get inijured again.top 6 was a lot to ask...about lorenzo...it was a good for me,even only for the value.but the soft tyre of iannone ruined it at the end. I'm sorry for your losses today...your season is still excellent.you should start following moto2 this year...good bets there ;)

Its all good man. I was pretty busy myself this weekend. Hense only a few wagers.
Well done with Iannone Might of helped just a little having Cal and Smith go down though Not that I gave 35 a chance but Smith seemed to have a pretty fast pace and would of done well had he not crashed. At least IMO. Iannone might of still had him, who knows.
Glad we both cashed Marc in what was by far the most exciting race of the year.
The Bradl bet was made on friday though? So I dont really get how you could of swayed me. He had only crashed once at that point and did not hurt himself at all or the bike. If you read my write up you'll get it. Bradl didnt seem to have the mentality to do much before the race so I agree with you, but he did however come out strong out of the gate. He moved up to the 6th spot before Crutchlow crashed and his bike flew into Bradl taking him out of the race. I liked my chances.
I dont understand what you mean about my JL wager? I had him to win the 1st lap of the race? It was an unreal +225. Not only did it cash, it had me yelling at every corner of the circuit. Very exciting to watch lorenzo in his element.
So I guess you read something wrong?
I only lost 1 wager this weekend lol. The other 2 were winners and brought me my 6th consecutive winning MotoGP race of the year.
Oh and about Moto2/3, I will look into next year for sure. Just trying to fully grasp GP to the fullest first.
Cheers bro! Great weekend!

Thank you Lorenzo and Marquez. Truly an epic battle right till the bitter end. Obviously the right guy one. He just had the better top end speed and that was clearly Lorenzo's downfall. To bad Crutchlow took out Bradl....still think that bet had a good shot, especially after Bradl quickly climbed the standings from his original 9th spot start. Such is motorcycle racing.
See you in Catalunya!
