NASCAR ??? wow.....

I'm pretty new to sports betting and decided to give NASCAR a try. i've never watched nascar b4 and only go off what i read on this board. I bet Busch over Jr. just for the hell of it and was happy at the end of the race!

My big play was Kasey to win!!! How did i know this? Well, i bought the NASCAR video game 3 days ago, ran the race and Kasey won... also both my kids names start with K so I went for it.

Yes Kasey has a new fan.

i know this is lame guys but i just wanted to say, after watching 2 races, I finally understand why people are so passionate about this sport. I plan to read every word you guys post and hope to understand the sport in time.

thnks stats, I have to say, both races had me on the edge of my seat.... i was left in awe. I only bet race #2 because i was at work and wanted to watch the race i bet on.

I know betting w a video game isn't the smartest way to wager but thats why i'm here haha

welcome   , nascar can be very profitable, and alot of the guys in here are pretty knowldegeable in this sport. Glad to see a new fan who appreciates it. GL this season, look forward to your thoughts......and there is nothing wrong with going on a hunch, i do it quite a bit myself.

Most of us are watching football on Sunday anway, I love putting 5 or 10 bucks on 2 or 3 live underdogs and having something to watch for at the end.  I'd check in once or twice during the race to see where my drivers were, come back for the last 10 or 15 laps.

My guy last year was Juan Montotya, $5 would win me $250+ and there were a lot of good races and he was there for the finish, but never won.  I usually picked one favorite with my underdogs and it actually worked out pretty well for me.  Always seemed to have someone at least in the top 5 for the the finish and won a few extra bucks some weekends.

 

Well beardown....The Daytona 500 is one you don't want to miss. In fact all the restrictor plate races are the best as far as entertainment and chances at a longshot cashing in big.The two races you have watched so far have both been plate races.All of them aren't that entertaining unless you are a die hard true blue race fan like most of us in here.
