My first bets on the track this year. I literally slept on the start of the race after staying up all night watching team Canada win gold on the ice. But since I have the delay I'm gonna use it to get in on the action.
Admittedly no capping here. Just putting 0.1 units on each of my 3 fave drivers and gonna enjoy the finish....whenever that is
With my first 3 Nascar bets this year.
NASCAR:
(1)Dale jr. to win the race +1100 risking 0.1 units
(2)Jeff Gordon to win the race +1400 risking 0.1 units
(3)Tony Stewart to win the race +2500 risking 0.1 units

Last season I backed Gordon a couple times and two of those races he finished 2nd and was chasing the lead racer who had ran out of fuel and was coasting across the finish line. He was closing almost a second a lap over the final 10 but fell less than a second short of the win.
He was in 10th and then worked into 8th before taking an early pit stop. Not sure that was the right move but with a quick stop mid race he may be able to make up some ground on a caution if the leaders pit and he stays on the track.
And on the other side of the spectrum Dale Jr didn't pit and jumped from 15th to the top row, albeit in need of some new rubber and a full tank.
And on a side not I like how Nascar has their "jewel" to start the season. It may be a lil anticlimactic but it sure does get their fans well fired up for the upcoming season.

This feels like deja vu all over again. Out of the handful of nascar
races I bet last year I had more than a couple that had Dale Jr and Jeff
Gordon (also Tony Stewart) to win and they all finished in the top 2-10 which was entertaining but did nothing for my account.
Now here again tonight there is a caution with 30 laps left. Looks
like we're gonna have a sprint to the finish. But staying positive,it
may work out alright cuz both of my racers are drag racers at
heart......I just hope they time their "kick(s)" properly this time.

Dale takes the lead with under 20 revolutions to go...Then blamo a bullshit caution.
But think Dale may not have enough fuel to go full balls all the way
so this may work out and allow him to save a lil juice and go full tilt
til the 200th.

Hells yeah ....Made 3 tiny bets on my 3 fave racers and my fave of the bunch takes home the checkered flag at 11:1
Sure it's not as fulfilling as the Team Canada win this morning but
I'm glad they had the delay which allowed me a lil extra time to recoup
and get something on this baby. Not a huge return paying a lil less than
a unit of ends all tolled. But some great entertainment and it has me excited
about the upcoming season.
And also pretty pumped overall with my fave racer as well as my all
time fave team ever the Canadian Mens Olympic Hockey Team both winning
the top award in their respective sports.
