Nationnwide - NAPA Auto Parts 200 from Circuit Gilles Villeneuve

IMO and as a Canadian the best Nationwide race of the year with the high content of Canadian drivers in the field. Just finished watching the Nascar Canadian Tire series race ran this morning. Andrew Ranger won the race after being punted out of the lead on the second last turn and then punting the leader into the wall on the last turn. With most drivers watching his tactics and seeing he starts at the back of the field, I wouldn't put to much stock in Ranger today despite a strong finish last year.

I bet a decent amount of Sprint Cup but never Nationwide.  I saw that the field was +115 versus Ambrose.  I went ahead and made my only wager on THE FIELD +115 for $100.  I only did that because I've never seen anything like that before.  Is this a common situation in the Nationwide series on courses like this?

FUCK ME, I lose all four plays and I'm done with everything but small cup plays this year. Bad break after bad break all season.

Never seen it before myself. Only reason was because he's an amazing road racer and this is a road course. Would never see that in Cup or on an oval. Nice play, I'm kicking myself for not playing it.

What an ending!  That was fun to watch.

I was lucky to minimize damage but I dare somebody to tell me that track doesn't need a Cup Race. Easily the best Nationwide race of the year IMO and would be the best road race in the Cup series. Even the F1 race at this track is always amoungst the most exciting.

Absolutely a great race to watch on TV. If they ever do get a cup race I'm gonna go and I'm gonna have a few brewskys at  clepto's!  

Me and you both were glad to see Carl break at the end clep. Definately made my horrible day not quite so bad.

We'll meet in "Le belle province" if they get a cup race buddy. Vancouver is an amazing place but Montreal is a roadie everyone needs to take. Trust me.

Well the only place I've ever been was I flew into Manitoba and then flew into some place to re fuel and then flew to Kaskattama Canada for a goose hunt. Basicaly on the Hudson Bay near Churchill. Saw lots of polar bears from a helicopter and in fact had a black Grizzly bear that stayed close to my cabin.I also caught a Brooke Trout that earned me a Manitoba Master Angler award and got me into the record book.

Awesome trip for sure.
