Nice week last time out at 4-1. Trying to get the YTD turned around, brought it up to 60-60, down 5.95 units. Hope to keep heading in the right direction with these:
J. Gordon -110 over Stewart-both have stellar histories here, and looked similar in practice. Going with a bit of current form, as Jeffie has been running pretty strong the last 5 weeks while Stew has faded. And you just can't flip the switch in this sport because now the playoffs have started. I think Gordo might have a championship run in him this year, this is a good place to start.
Newman +125 over Kahne-strictly a bit of a value play here. Both guys have been almost the same on average finish and top 10s the last five years here. Similar in practice. Then why is on +125? I don't know, but I'll take it.
Martin -115 over Kurt-another case where both guys have been strong at the track and looked fast in practice. Kurt suprised me with that strong run last week, this week Penske hasn't even let lame duck crew cheif Tryson in the shop after Tuesday. That has to hurt at some point.
Harvick +105 over Truex-alright Harvick, you've reeled me in on this resurgance. I'm sure this is the week he runs 28th again! While Truex has looked really strong in practice and has a good history here, I'm going with the fact that he's looked strong until about midrace the last few weeks. That craphole of a team he's running for can't get him good finishes.
Mears +125 over McMurray-The 26 flat out blows at this track. Average finish of 28.2 the last five years at this track is the worse of any "regular" driver out there. Give me the plus odds.
Kenseth -150 over Ragan-if they keep putting Ragan lines up, I'll keep betting against him. His average finish in his career here is 28th even. He's finished 30th or worse in 3 of the last 4 weeks. Don't expect great things out of Kenseth as he's looked like junk this weekend, but his average finish the last 5 trips to the track is 19th which would be plenty.
Threw an extra play out there this week for the fun of it. GL to everyone today, hopefully this race isn't too boring. I hate this track.

Not a bad day today, 4-2 with two dog winners. Recap off the action:
Gordon was a loser vs. Stewart by a single spot. Thought I had that one after the 14 had to make a lengthly pit stop to check the axle. But 24 faded after a decent start, could have been a monster day.
Newman money with a nice run and Kahne blows up.
Martin over Kurt. Winner, winner, old man held off hard charing JPM. But the blue duece was awesome all day, will not be going against him until I see signs the pit boss change is having a negative effect.
Harvick bit me. Truex faded as expected, but Happy was mid pack at best all day then had mechanical issue.
Mears . Nice dog winner over McMurray. And the 26 was better than expected. Nice run from the 07.
Kenseth over Ragan. Ragan . Nuff said.
Brings the YTD up to 64-62, down 3.56 units. I'd like to keep this hot run going and bust back to the positive, but this has been where I bone it ever since I got in the negative to begin with and take a big hit. Hopefully not, see everyone at Dover! Perhaps the board will be a little more active next week.
