2-2 last week. 78-77, -5.86 units on the year. Being pretty selective today, don't like this track and I'm leaving in about an hour and a half to head down to FedEx Feild to watch my Broncos take on the train wreck that is the Washington Deadskins. But I'm firing these out there:
Hamlin -125 over Kyle-Denny excels at flat tracks, probably Kyle's biggest weakness.
J. Burton -110 over Newman-Just can't ignore Burton's history at this track. Average finish of 10th at the track the last 5 years, and he picked up some wins before that. Newman only has 1 top 10 here the last 5 years.
Menard +120 over R. Gordon-Robby Gordon as an actual pretty big favorite?? Sign me up for the dog as quick as possible. Menard's average finish here is 23.4 in his career, anything close to that should win this by about 10 spots. Robby looked decent in practice, but he's only finished better than 30th 3 times in the past 11 races.
